Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.

Thank you for taking the time to visit!

My house turns into a dog park for a day!

And it was HEAVEN!!!
My friend Tee brought over her dogs Guinnes and Gracie. They are good friends of Henry and he was in heaven as well. His friends really just werent interested in lil Archie and that suited us all just fine especially Henry.

Tee had time to play with lil Archie and I took some pics of that and of the dogs at play.

My poor lil Henry in the other room, (any room Archie is not in)

They are doing better and playing somewhat and Archie is so happy to see Henry every morning.

  1. I was wondering if you have seen how Cesar Millan The Dog Whisperer shows to introduce a new dog to the older dog? I wondered if that might work for Henry?! Kelli Hansen

  2. Yes I have but only after I got Archie. I did bring Henry once to meet him before he came home. I do some things with Henry (feed first etc) which has helped and Henry is doing better. Small steps every day. You know the more I have just not stressed about it and kinda not hovered over Henry the better it has been.
I just noticed Henry in one pic "showing Guiness whose boss" hee hee

  3. Hi Jinx!
How fun that you, Tee and the doggies get to hang out together.

That green grass and sunshine sure looks welcoming!

I love the picture of Henry on the couch.

    Hope you're feeling better.
    Hugs, Audrey

Love the pic of Tee and Archie layin' in the grass!
I bet Archie's lil' puppy needle teeth have left a few marks on everyone.
I am so happy to see them playin'. Even more happy to see all that green grass since a foot of snow has fallen here since yesterday!

    P.S.

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly

"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
