Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.

Thank you for taking the time to visit!

And when your done visiting here, I'd love for you to check out my work on my etsy shop, www.etsy.com/shop/NostalgicFolkArt

Happy Dec!

Cant believe its Dec already!     this weekend we hope to do a little decorating inside and out.

finishing up my last snowman and hope to list him in the next couple of days. he is a large one too!

also just finished a rabbit and one of my original idea/ design kitchen witch boards and will be listing them this afternoon.   ive been making these boards for a few years now and these designs are very personal, sometimes i use them myself before i decide to sell them. this one is special because i have added a little vintage pan to hold your chalk and coupons also added one of my magnets to hold your list.     hope you like this new one.

Happy Halloween and Happy Birthday Henry!

10yrs old today Whoo Hooo!

Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church had their first Trunk or Treat celebration and we "helped" Pastor Leigh and her family decorate their car like a Star Wars fighter jet.    But it was 99% their children Ben and Amelia!!!! so much fun !!!!

here are some shots of us getting ready before the crowds come. btw that is our pastor in costume, she is Awsome!

so the wings were constructed by her hubs, Chris and decorated by Ben and Amelia, also there were balloons with fighter jet images, "smoke clouds" stars and pumpkins with star wars character masks, and a huge character balloon.  the kids loved it and i'm trying to get the other pics thru but i do have these early shots.  btw i see i'm in the background pointing at something (whats new)

My neighbor and friend Liz came by to check on me and help out.

 OMG pointing again!
it got tooooo bzy to stop and take pics!    Everyone have a fun and safe Halloween!!!!!

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly

"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
