Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.

Easy Decisions!

Back from vacation in the Smokies, Bryson City and lots of soul searching, here is me and my boy, Kipp enjoying a family hike, Dan taking pics. I left the camera at home and Dan used his phone, still trying to find the other photos. I am so bad with computers and gadgets. But your aware of that by my messy blog and soon to be finished website.

Just wanted to let you know that i've decided to close my Nostalgic Folk Art website. It was NOT a tough choice and i'll tell you why,   I am keeping my etsy Nostalgic Folk Art shop, which seems to get more traffic and this year more sales than my site has in awhile.   Spending so much for hosting is not making any sense to me when i sell more work at galleries then i ever did or have online. I'll be opening a facebook page finally i guess so between tmy blog, etsy and the galleries I'm gonna be good. The Nostalgic Folk Art domain will remain mine as i may decide to start a website up again, who knows but for now these other things are keeping me super busy!  here are the galleries that sell my work

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly

"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
