Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.

And so it goes And so it goes

Excuse the "garden" it and my whole yard has died from the exteme cold temps we had. sigh But my dear Henry still loves to lay in the dirt. It is his time for quiet and sunning.
Oh no here comes crazy baby Archie,

There goes my peace and tranquility.

But Henry I'm so cute how could you not love me?

Alright Archie you get one minute of my time but don't eat the bad tomatoes.

Thats it I'm outta here, and off Henry stealthly sneakes to find another hiding place.

Crazy baby doesnt notice Henry has left and continues to garden and explore
the dusty tundra.

Archie has been in our home for over a month now and has given Dan and I so much joy.He is a great lil fella. They do have moments of play time but they move so fast I cant get pics of them playing together.

  2. There are my boys! Ahhhh... I truly enjoy seeing pics of them. Love the 4th pic of Henry and of course the "butt shot." Bostons' have the cutest rumps. Archie is just the sweetest with all his puppy pinkness. Thanks for bringing a huge smile to my face after a very long week. Smooches to the boys.

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly

"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
