Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.

Holy Moly!!! Look What I Got!!!

Well I'm a member of the best group of Prim artisans EVER!!! To Dwell In Primitive Thymes gals had a Fall Swap and I was so blessed to have as a swap partner Jan Davis of Big Brown Dog Primitives. Now not only is she a great folk artist, she also did my website graphics and my banner and my business cards. So I knew when names were pulled "I gotta golden ticket!" Here are the goodies I received late this afternoon
in the mail!!!! DON'T be Hate'n!

Isn't this the best?! I can't wait to put it up! Its gonna really be the focal point of my halloween decorations and I will treasure this piece!

Well I never seen candy coated chocolate dipped sunflower seeds and they are yummy!
Can you see the wonderful necklace she made with a picture of my Henry, its on a vintage domino and I find that funny as well they are black with white spots just like Henry. I know thats so corny but I'm still on a high from opening my swap!

Its so obvious she understands my adoration and love for this breed of dogs along with my preference for vintage and prim decor and made these goregeous cutouts for me which are already dispersed in my home!

Now Jan makes and sells these items so check out her site by clicking on the TDIPT banner to the right and you may just see something you just have to have over there!!

Thank you Jan I adore it all!

I'm not sure he appreciated this.

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly

"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
