Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.

Thank you for taking the time to visit!

Done redoing the dining room

with the exception of one wall! I need a large sign! i'm on the lookout for an old wooden one that has something to do with farming or food   but you can see what i mean   its so bare but i am leaving it like that til we find the right piece

it didnt take too long i suppose, Dan did all the shiplap himself and he made me the sideboard out of an old door.  its full of pyrex too!

and a collection of vintage coffee tins.

we even cleaned out and painted (white) our pantry and it feels so good to get rid of things we no longer really use.      we released cookware and kitchen items,  dining room decor and even found expired oils and spice things i thought i'd use one day or i couldnt resist they were a buy one get one free sale (im doing better with those)    Oh and here are the pyrex pieces i actually use in the clean pantry.     Next project is a screen door Dan is working on for it.

my photography skills are lacking but thought i'd share some of my "new" little dining room.
the chairs are gone and we are looking for 4 chairs this weekend .

We love old tins, the colors the patina everything

and vintage tablecloths

lamp Dan made so simple with copper piping and two old enamel lamp shades
so we still need window treatments and we are going with Roman Shades in eggshell
and on the hunt for chairs and a sign   and then my little farmhouse dining room will be complete!!!!

oh man no less clutter is so niceeeeeeeeeeee!

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly

"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
