Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.

Well this is what the cat scan and scope showed

getting Henry's digestive problems in check has been a life long struggle, he is on Hills Diet zd right now and maybe for life, no other foods, with the exception of lamb lungs for treats.  he is doing well enough, kidneys well that is another story,   his Gerd is in check and now the green goo and constant sneezing of it has ended.     we tried different anitbiotics, nasal washes, even having him sit in the shower to get the steam to clear his nose, all to no avail.  we took him AVS in Maitland for a cat scan and scope and they found this stuff in his nasal area and back of throat area

its speculated it is part of a rawhide treat that lodged there when he had an Gerd episode.
removed and Henry is recovering very well for an old boy.   we are all so relieved and im sure he is so thrilled

i will never give a rawhide treat to any dog i have.

  1. Poor Henry. But he's a tough little guy and will come around with lots of love and some R&R. Which I know he's getting plenty of! ♥
Yeppers, rawhide chew treats are evil. Actually I think they should be banned. I know of another friend who's furbaby had to have emergency surgery for a rawhide getting lodged in the throat.
Please give the boys smooches from their Aunt Peanut. Stella and Gracie send their love, too. ♥

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly

"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
