Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.

Couch Potatoes

this is how we are spending most of the time. Poor Henry is still recuperation and not his normal self. he had a rough go of it and still isnt eating normally among other things.

the laundry basket (there are two but pic doesnt show it) serves as a barrier for Henry not to jump, he isnt supposed to for 10 days but he has been a bit sneaky, jumping and playing. its nearly impossible to keep a Boston from springing around.  those moments of joy give me hope.

Thank God Archie is doing so well and is almost 100% back to his good health.   Henry is older and not as strong but he is a trouper and i am so proud of him and how gentle and loving he is.

down to 3 meds now

Thank you for your kind comments and emails you cannot know how much they mean.

  1. Awwww... That photo of the three of you is so precious! Henry has been through quite a bit. But he's getting lots of love to help heal him.
Cerenia was also a miracle drug for our Gracie. Even with home made and prescription dog food she still has occasional pancreas trouble. We give her Cerenia when she has a bad bout.
Glad to read Archie is better.
Still lots of prayers for Henry. ♥
    Give them smooches for me.

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly

"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
