Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.

New Nostalgic Folk Art Snowmen on Etsy

I always work on items that hit my moods. Sometimes i make holiday items during spring or summer. This is why i dont do special requests, well i really try not too. Things are never as good when they are forced.

anyway, i am working of a series of N O E L s, they are cheerful snowmen,usually singing,joyful maybe from having a bit too much glug or nog!  My fellas are inspired by the old ceramic figures of the 30's 40's and 50's by Lenox, Napco, Norcrest and the best of all Holt Howard.

 I guess you've figured out why these are called N O E L s


Full of joy and friendship enjoying every moment available to them because the season is about so much more.
