Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business.

Phew! Getting back to work!

Thank goodness all the hustle and bustle of the holiday is over! Love it but dang it i'm a hermit and like to get back to my simple life. Hope as your reading this your doing well and recouped from all the holiday shennanigans.
Anyway i've added a couple of new figures to my website and so here they are,

I know Christmas is over, but i just couldnt part with these and used them in my own holiday decor. so here are some ellies decking the halls, fa la la la la la la la la

Very Prim Blessings and i'm on a tear making these types of prim gals, one more i've added and 3 more types to come.

Shiny Apples! would you take an apple from her?

Yep here is another one of this type of figures i'm stuck on for now, but now that i've said it i'm in the mood to make sweet lil bears and ellies. go figure
a faded and lovely angel.

Anyway here they are and may be off to the galleries in a day or so, so if you've gotten some holdiay $ and are in need of something new to dust (and give you joy), check out my site.

Have the best day possible!!!!

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly

"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
