Going to list this large bear to my etsy shop today
its called today is going to be a good day and hopefully that is in your heart as well
Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.
Thank you for taking the time to visit!
And when your done visiting here, I'd love for you to check out my work on my etsy shop, www.etsy.com/shop/NostalgicFolkArt
The Best to you always!

We have to
stay home and that is fine as it forces me to work to keep my mind off whats going on. I am optimistic as there are some smart people out in the world and especially here in our country that i know will find a treatment for the Wuhan Virus
so do i continue to list items for sale, knowing that of course people are not buying things that are not necessary during a pandamic, but for me i need to live as normally as i can. The only out of character thing i may do is actually clean up my studio, but even that seems too much of a challenge. May need a longer quarantine time for that.
As a country we will get thru this like we have other catastrophes, we will, we just have to take care of ourselves and others, be respectful , patient and kind at a distance until your needed closer.
Right now we are all on the same team
ok so here's a bunny that im pretty sure if i dont end up done in by this will still be around for next Easter. Listing on Etsy today

Tomorrow will be a year since Henry passed
the year went by so fast but my heart is still hurting, his vine is thriving and makes me so happy with the beautiful crown of thorn flowers it produces. I still cannot look at pictures of him. Archie is an old poop (literally) and has helped me get through it He is my shadow and my little clown.
Ok phew
work helps me get thru most anything once i actually make myself sit down and do some. I just finished this old raggedy happy cat and am about to list it on Etsy
happy cat and his ball of yarn simple pleasures!

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly
"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
