i just reopened My Crowded Little Nest on Etsy

Last year i had to shut it down as it was just too much with everything else i do around here. But my home is getting over cluttered again and my collecting compulsion has returned with a vengence.

How can i put this?

there are words but i wont say them as i am angry, we have had a terrorist attack in nearby Orlando. An angry,mentally unstable coward plain and simple walked into a night club.  A coward and murderer who with a cult damaged mind thought it ok to randomly kill those who did not believe in his evil.


Logic doesnt penetrate the deluded and fevered mind.




My heart goes out to the survivors and the family of those killed by evil.

Its getting so hot round here!

and i know i'm going to lose my garden soon.   I'm going to miss having cut flowers in my home and heading out in the am to water the garden areas and sit and have a cup of coffee there in the am.

so sharing these pics here before its all gone from the Florida summer heat which seems to be coming early


These are the flowers i cut from the garden

they just make me so happy, slightly faded like an old kodak instant picture, nostalgic and a simple kind of beauty.





this sunflower came from bird seed (i had a bird feeder above ) and it really fought a good fight!

Archie always ready for play time!  Henry would rather just rest inside in the cool air.  He is doing good most days. like the sunflower, he is so strong and the bravest little dog i know.

Karen Pender of Country Folks Keepsakes ROCKS!!!!

Ok so back from the grocery store and there in the magazine section Country Sampler with Karen Pender's home featured in there!!!  i had to pose with my J O Y large printer letters cos thats what i felt! been waiting for this issue for a bit and it did not dissapoint!!!

 for anyone who follows her blog she is an amazing decorator and has such a great eye, so its particularly great her design talent was noticed and featured in a popular magazine.

well i could do more pics but ya gotta get the magazine to see it all!!! there are shots of her two little angels, Gracie and Stella Rose in there as well.

rearranging my living room

its so danged hot round here and i just want less stuff so with our love of gardening to guide us and a quick go through our garage we started rearranging our living room with some deletions and some additions

 so glad i didnt sell the sign stand at last yard sale! gotta find some wonderful indoor plants for it

Henry monitoring, he loves decorating (no surprise there hee hee) tho he didnt want to give up his throne.

He's eating a chicken stew i make and 1/2 cup of dry food at night and seems to be doing good with that, thats all we can do as this is the only stuff he keeps down.  Archie loves it too.
