Been So Busy

I havent updated my blog in ages it seems.  Kinda putting things together for a huge yard sale on July7th and i didnt realize all the stuff i need to release. I keep putting stuff out, bringing it back in, thinking i may need this or i really do still like it or i paid so much for it and i dont want to give it away. I've just got to snap out of it and just get get rid of the stuff and if i get some cash for the stuff thats great! When in the world do i ever use that bread maker? Anyway i'll try and take pics of the sale to share. in the meantime here's a pic of Kipp with some students

Happy Father's Day!

Hope your sunday is sweet and full of appreciation for those dad's who did the best they could! Being a parent is tough even in the best circumstances as we just want our children to be and have a life even better than our own. We just got off skyping with Kipp as he laughed his mischievious laugh and wished Dan a Happy Father's Day and here is a picture of our proudest accomplishment! we'll be smiling the rest of today!

25 Years So Quickly!

Yesterday was our 25th wedding anniversary and it just doesnt seem that long ago. Dan and i have been thru so many ups and downs in our lives always together. He is my best friend and the nicest, most decent and gentlemanly fella i know. I thank my dad (who i know watches over us) for setting such a good example for me. I was kinda nervous as the day went on waiting for Dan to come home so we could go out for a nice dinner. It felt like i was getting married again as 25 is such a milestone. We saw pics of ourselves thru the years and it was bittersweet as i could see the young couple turn to the middle aged couple we looked at and said, " that will be us one day" at dinner, we went to The Dish as they serve good food tappas style, and during the end our dinner an elderly couple in their 70's sat next to us and Dan and i just looked at each other and smiled, on our way out we wished them a wonderful dinner and evening.
