Hoping this season brings you all the love and joy you deserve! And that the new year is full of blessings for you and your family. Dan and I thank you so much for being a part of Nostalgic Folk Art through your visits, patronage and friendship.
See you next year!
Peace to your home
Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.
Thank you for taking the time to visit!
And when your done visiting here, I'd love for you to check out my work on my etsy shop, www.etsy.com/shop/NostalgicFolkArt
The Best to you always!

Check this out!
My friend Tee Thompson of Hot Metal Mamma, just moved into her dream cottage in New Smyrna. I didnt take enough pics of her home as well, she had some good Australian wine (I know nothing about wine i just drink what i like) and snacks and i got caught up in that giggle. anyway i took mostly her gorge metal works. one day sigh. now look and dream!
her back yard gate
her outdoor shower with lil frogs leaping all around
her fence
Tee Dan and her momma
her old chippy table
her flock of flying fish on her kitchen wall
her saying Dont take my picture, look at her stone countertops
there is a fish like a fossil in the funky wave of her concrete sink
her palm tree in hallway
and the coolest thing ever, this wall was the outside of the original tiny cottage
her work at The Hub Gallery in New Smyrna Beach she puts lights on fences if requested.
friends for life!

New Nostalgic Folk Art for December Updates on The Merc
I've really been on a bear kick, I just finished making a ton of lil rabbit and bear ornies the last couple of months and it seems i get on these kicks, make a ton of what type of figures I'm into and then change to the next type of figure. Anyway its bears right now and so here are my latest for December. They are paper mache made to look like old raggedy worn and faded toys.

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly
"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
