Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.

After all this time, New Nostalgic Folk Art

I am finally feeling almost as good as new. The flu is serious and I'm going to take better precautions and i hope you do too. My son in Japan says that over there they wear face masks and he has co workers who wear them if they are sick. I might adopt that practice. Anyway here is some new work i've finally finished or just had the energy to finally load up on my site or on Etsy (click on the button to the right or just search Carol Roll Nostalgic Folk Art) Old Toy Bear

It can only get better til it just cant

I've been so sick!!!!! What a way to start the year, i actually went to bed around 9 30 on new years and am still recovering. Next year i'm getting a flu shot for sure.

Havent had the energy or inclination to do a blog or do any work for that matter although i've tried.

I do have a lil tease tho, next month Tdipt Mercantile is doing something really sweet for the month of Feb. and hope you will check them out.

Not sure i will be updating my blog for a bit as i just am not at 100% yet. so stay tuned for more on Feb.

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly

"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
