Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business. I feel so blessed and thankful to God for being able to make these little pieces and hope they make you smile.

Thank you for taking the time to visit!

And when your done visiting here, I'd love for you to check out my work on my etsy shop, www.etsy.com/shop/NostalgicFolkArt

Really proud of my garden but its

dying, its so hot here and even with watering its just alot for my flowers HOWEVER, i'm so happy to have been able to make a hat with my beautiful zinnias, roses, marigolds, periwinkles, and couple of other types of flowers.

it was a church luncheon and we were asked to wear hats and decorate them.  there were plain hats, baseball caps, a couple of black feathered hats, visors, straw hats with some silk flowers oh and there  was  a lady with a cap that had candy on it!   anyway here's my hat,

oh dear here i am off to church and i'm so proud of my hat!

ok i'm working very hard as i am in 4 places and trying to fulfill obligations to have work for them and for my etsy shop.   so next month i'll start with some halloweenies and maybe a couple of Christmas items.

and this is why he's the head honcho

the queen bee has control of the toy and the couch and of course the pillow will need to be washed!

Archie thinks all the toys are his and he doesn't ever let Henry have a toy so every once in awhile he does this "sleeping" move.

of course i let him have his way ALWAYS!

now sweet little Archie, watching and a tear in his eye (really its allergies)  stalking   waiting  for the right moment to walk by and like a praying mantis take that ball from Henry

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly

"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
