Nostalgic Folk Art was born in 2004. I came up with Nostalgic Folk Art name for my paper mache figures because I love the older things that remind me of my childhood and of innocent times. They are figures of folks both childish and impish and I love vintage folk art so putting nostalgic with folk art was/is a perfect and fitting name for my lil figures and business.

Well another year is ahead

and away are all the trimings

 mailed out the last works
put away all the dishes  and snacks

and all the decorations. I started to redecorated the house a little bit.

Kipp made some delicious asparagus yummies as there wasnt any more room for leftovers
went to St. Augustine to look for some concrete seating for the garden and of course  looked for other items with a little Christmas cash

Winter in FL this year

didnt find a concrete table and bench but did find this beauty! dont even mind the paw is broken and one ear is missing. funny thing, this old bostie is wearing a harness, he must be as wild as my little Archie!

Love this little girl too and NO more garden adornments, unless i can find some old concrete chickens!
and the gardens!

still working on this one but i do love to have coffee here and refresh my soul.

now back to work for me and back to my regular schedule!  Wishing ya'll good things only!

Thats it! No more decorating!

took this pics at night and well we just decided no large tree this year, usually there are 3 trees, one for our vintage plastic ornies, one for our bird and fruit ornies and a larger one for our regular vintage ornaments.   so anyway here are some pics to share

here are some of the plastic ornies and light

and this little imp grew to become this larger imp! here are my bird and fruit ornies on my wire tree that is up all year in my garden room

the vintage plastic angel tops the tree wit some moldy oldies that i love
here are some close ups of my favorite oldies

and a snowman i made that i got to keep!!! I never keep my work, i mean i keep pieces like these "stuffed" Christmas animals, until they sell but that doesnt count,   i'm going to keep this fella

and speaking of snowmen i just finished these two party animals

Probably wont be here again til after the new year so Merry Christmas to you and I wish you the best year full of blessings, courage, wisdom and peace.

My First Written Review/Kinda like your first dollar, I treasure this dearly

"Carol Roll is a relative new-comer, creating folk art for four years, now. Her paper mache figures reflect significant talent. At first glance, her angels, people, mermaids, and animals may appear cute and dear. At closer look, they are sophisticated, with detailed, expressive faces, each unique. Roll's work is anything but mass produced. It's the real deal. "
